This weekend course is conducted on a one to one basis, so you will have my full attention over the two days.
Please arrive by 10:00am. We will finish between 4.00pm and 5.00pm. Lunch will be provided on both days.
On the morning of Day One
we will be collecting drone semen. After lunch we will anaesthetize the three queens provided - ready for insemination on Day Two. We will also collect more drone semen (which takes time and is very important for successful insemination of your queens).
On Day Two, more drone semen will be collected until lunch time. After lunch we will have a thorough clean of the equipment and make ready to inseminate your queens. I will give you a full demonstration of how to inseminate a queen. The rest of the day we will spend collecting and inseminating your three queens. You will be able to take them home with you at the end of the day.
Several weekend dates are available during May/June/July 2023. Please select your preferred weekend. Remember only one place is available on each weekend
